Matin Spinning Mills Limited, a concern of DBL Group inaugurated its expanded Melange unit on 28 March, 2016 in Kashimpur, Gazipur to expand its production capacity by 10 tons a day of Melange yarn to meet the company’s growing demand for high-quality yarn. The additional capacity of producing Melange Yarn will boost the total capacity to 35 tons a day. During the inauguration, Mr. Abdul Wahed, Chairman, Mr. M.A. Jabbar, Managing Director, Mr. M.A. Rahim, Director, Mr. M.A. Quader, Director, Mr. Mohammed Hassan Imam, Director, other high officials of the company and distinguished invited guests were present.
The company raised Tk 126 crore through an initial public offering, to set up its Melange project. The expanded Melange unit will be one of the most modern spinning mills in Bangladesh having machineries from Trutzschler – Germany, Rieter – Switzerland, Toyota & Murata – Japan, Marzoli – Italy and so on.
